Software Sales Professional

eSped.com is a leading provider of on-demand special education student information management solutions, which we sell nationally as an application subscription service to PK-12 public school systems. We are looking for a sales professional with education or special education training / degree to drive growth in key territories. Founded in 1999, eSped.com is a private company located in Andover, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive tactical sales plan for your territory
  • Prospect for new clients
  • Identify and map decision and purchasing processes
  • Communicate eSped's value proposition
  • Respond to requests for proposals
  • Present software demonstrations to school and technology administrators
  • Cultivate and extend existing client relationships

Requirements:

  • BS/BA and a minimum of 1 year of successful software sales in a formal, systematic sales environment
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivated, organized, self-starter with ability to plan, execute and achieve results
  • Strong sales forecasting and pipeline management skills
  • 40% travel
  • Experience as a general or special education teacher in a k-12 school environment
  • Previous education or ASP sales experience preferred but not required for professionals with significant other experience
