The new face of eSped puts the focus back on students and teachers
ANDOVER, MA – September 14, 2007 – For the 700-strong school districts that already partner with eSped, a focus on the needs of teachers, administrators, and IT staff is nothing new. But as the Massachusetts-based educational software developer continues to expand its offering in more school districts across the country, a new website and modernized brand put that idea front and center.
eSped, Inc. is a leading developer of web-based reporting applications and professional services that empower teachers, administrators, and parents to remain focused on the students that need them-not the time-consuming paperwork that can distract them. Across the country, more than 150,000 special education students benefit from eSped's centralized database to aggregate their individual education plans (IEPs), progress reports, and more. In addition, eSped helps teachers and administrators manage the data of more than 750,000 general education students.
"Our continued growth and current, high-touch customer service both deserved to be put on a pedestal," says Mark Ventre, Executive Vice President of Finance and Operations. "Our new website and branding help us do just that." The new website, at www.esped.com, offers comprehensive information about eSped's products and benefits to teachers, administrators, and IT professionals. Just as the company focuses deeply on the needs of its users, so too does the website's content and overall interactivity support the informational needs of its multiple target audiences. In concert with the initiative to design, write, and develop the new website, eSped undertook an initiative to refine its branding to be more in line with the qualities customers associate with the company's products. A comprehensive branding exercise and close collaboration with New Hampshire-based consultancy PixelMEDIA resulted in a new logo, color scheme, print collateral, and website content.
