eStar Medicaid
Another valuable application for school districts, eStar Medicaid collects information from health care providers on Medicaid-eligible students so administrators have a private record of each child's medical history. This data can then be quickly added to other critical documentation, such as IEP and FIE reports. In addition, the application allows the district to record services rendered and submit a bill to a third-party partner for reimbursement. Such an automated service lowers costs because there's no log required to ship to a billing agency and no hard copy file to attach to student's file.
On a monthly basis, the eStar Medicaid application identifies who's Medicaid eligible and links this information to the student's IEP to dynamically update the form's Medicaid Log.
- Identifies children who are Medicaid eligible
- Easily records services rendered to that child such as OT, TP, Speech, and physical therapy
- Converts daily logs into a file that can be electronically submitted to Medicaid
